ClassPass Review: Flywheel

flywheel cycle classpass review

I’ve found a new favorite Seattle workout, and it’s called Flywheel…

Flywheel reminds me a lot of SoulCycle, which was my favorite fitness class when I lived in New York City. Although Flywheel offers both cycling and barre, I tried the cycling last week since I’d already done barre at a few other studios. Before the class, I was pretty wiped out from a day full of meetings, but from the moment the class started my energy surged back.

The class was a room full of about 50 bikes, with the lights dimmed, music up, and an instructor guiding the class through a series of intervals timed to music. It was part dance party, part competition – but total intense workout. I left dripping in sweat and feeling like I’d done more in that 45 minutes than I could in twice that amount of time with other workouts. It was fun and an incredible stress reliever to pedal as hard as I possibly could and burn off all the extra energy and thoughts from the day.

If you’d like to try Flywheel, you can sign up for ClassPass and go as often as you’d like. I personally will be going every chance I get, and I’d love for you to join me. (: (ClassPass is the app we’ve fallen in love with this month, which offers unlimited monthly fitness classes at a variety of studios throughout major U.S. Cities.)

P.S. If you’d like to try out ClassPass in your city, you may do so here for just $10!
